Side effects

As with any other medicine, side effects are possible with Lyrica, but this not means that everyone who takes this medication will experience side effects.

If any of these serious adverse effects occur, you should call your doctor:

  • muscle pain
  • body weakness
  • body tenderness (feeling tired, fever symptoms)
  • easy bruising, lots of bleeding
  • weight gain

There are also some less serious side effects, that may dissapear after some time. They may include:

  • dizziness
  • body coordination difficulties
  • anxiety
  • temporary loss of vision sense
  • problems with memory or concentration
  • loss of balance or coordination
  • skin rash (hands and feet itching)
  • dry mouth
  • increased need to eat
  • stomach pain, digestive problems
  • If you have any of the following new or worsening symptoms call your doctor imediately:

    • behavior changes, mental insecurity
    • depression symptoms
    • signs of anxiety
    • agitaiton, hostility, hyperactivity
    • suiciding thoughs
